I bought this book from Michaels this evening, and had been thinking about picking it up for a while. I loved the designs, and the fact that the book tells you how to make the shirt even fancier...but got frustrated immedietly.

I read the directions, washed the shirt first, made sure it was not 100% cotton, heated up the iron. The directions say that you are supposed to heat the pattern for 30-60 seconds and you will get a very detailed beautiful result. LIES!! I worked on one applique for 30 MINUTES, and got some crappy, blurry, faded version of what I was promised. Then I spent over an HOUR on another applique on the same shirt with zero results. My iron was VERY hot, I burned myself on it several times, and just became frustrated on this waste of money and time. Now I have a crappy stained shirt that I can't do anything with. GRR.....

In summary, don't waste your time. The designs are cute, yes, but the frustration of misleading results is not really worth the $11. (plus some if you don't have any blank shirts lying around.)
